Proofreading: Correct spelling, punctuation, and grammatical errors. Make limited style changes for consistency. This is the fastest and most economical service.

Moderate Copyediting: Do all of the above, but also check for correct and consistent style usage throughout. I will also do limited editing for clarity, word choice, structure, and flow. This is the editing service needed by most writers.

Heavy Copyediting: Do all of the above, but focus on eliminating wordiness, redundacy, awkward word choices, vagueness, poor sentence structure, and problems with logic or cohesion. This may include suggestions for rephrasing sentences, as well as detailed comments about ways to improve your project.

Writing: I can help you write newsletters, press releases, website copy, promotional material, and many other types of projects. 

Writing Workshops: If you struggle with writing for business, school, or your own personal affairs, this workshop is for you. It will provide basic, concrete, and practical steps to improve your writing. You'll learn simple rules to help you write with greater clarity and power. No special knowledge of grammar, punctuation, or spelling is necessary. This workshop is designed for anyone who wants to communicate more effectively in writing. Workshops are offered in Orange County, California, with special group rates available. Individual consultations are also offered.
